It’s been said that, “Necessity is the mother of invention,” and the story behind the development of VaccuFlex® is certainly no exception.

 

Frustrated with the tedious task of disassembling an outside chandelier that would regularly become filled with bugs and debris, the we thought, “There has to be an easier way.”

 

The obvious solution to the problem simply would be to use a vacuum with the smallest attachment to suck out the debris. Unfortunately, the smallest attachment was too large and not flexible enough to reach the curved sides along the bottom of the large chandelier globes.

 

After hours of online research and useless, unhelpful trips to the local improvement store in search of an existing ready-made solution, we decided to create the solution myself. The result is VaccuFlex®, which is a uniquely engineered cap made of thermoplastic rubber that attaches to a vacuum hose, enabling the use of small diameter, flexible tubing.

 

Although VaccuFlex® was initially created to remove objects from hard to reach areas, it is useful for so much more.
